把immortal souls当作例子真是吓了一跳，由此引出的recollection和learning/teaching概念的关系却是非常引人深思的。感觉teachable这个概念最后还是要回到什么是knowledge，什么是opinion，什么又是“new” knowledge

本书处处都是亮点。和我读过的别的他的对话录比起来更好。

不读古希腊哲学，真的就没办法形成正确的世界观。2016年要好好读下去。

What impressed me most is not the discussion about whether virtue is teachable, but the idea of "form". Indeed, we could think of various forms of virtue, but most of us are ignorant to the essence of it, that is, what units all sort of virtues together.
