Definitely operating at an extremely high level of abstraction.. not very readable. I’m just not that into structural functionalism as well as the theories related to it. I hafta admit that this work is enlightening, though kinda outmoded, ..like casting a shining light and tearing the mist apart for me to some extent.

评分我手上這本是1969年的Beacon版，根據1967年的法語版的第一版英譯，當然法語版最早齣版是在1949年
评分讀瞭前麵的一部分。講kinship…從incest taboo講到女人在婚姻中的角色是被用來交換的“商品”。人類學好可怕！
