从围绕一座坚城展开的战斗，到一孤单旅人的颠沛，再到后期莎氏宫廷剧展开。就像专画古代军阵的大师突然有一天悬笔偷描了一张细致美人图：画上Nymph如山鬼，赤足，细腰，吸风吮露。 英雄气短的Odysseus在百花缭乱的各路nymph面前，完全没了主角气场。

据说是从韵律上和感觉上最贴近原著的英译本。不愧是古典巨著，读来乐趣无穷。书后的附注讲译者的各种困惑，充满细节，看到原本看不到的东西。也非常有意思
