He was previously the editor of Time Magazine and the CEO.of CNN. He was born in New Orleans, La., on May 20, 1952. He is a graduate of Newman School in New Orleans, Harvard College, and Pembroke College of Oxford University. He serves as chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, which oversees Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and other U.S. international broadcasts. He is also the chairman of the board of Teach for America. He is on the boards of United Continental Airlines, Bloomberg Foundation, Harvard Overseers, and Tulane University.

评分今天读完《乔布斯传》,571页,读了三个月,很有成就感!不过估计很多段落怕是没理解清楚,须再读一遍台版——《賈伯斯傳》

评分书不薄,但读起来很快,可以说通过作者的文字,像一个时间旅者一样,见证了乔布斯的一生。休息的时候,看着面前的电脑,把玩着手机,生活中的一切都被这个人完全改变。他不是最出色的工程师,也不是最有创意的设计者,但他是世界上唯一一个将美与科技创新性地无缝连接在一起的人。很幸运的能和他生活在同一个时代,以后我的子女,以及他们的子女也会知道曾经有一个天才,史诗性地改变了人类社会。
