著者簡介

Kathryn Stockett was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in English and Creative Writing, she moved to New York City where she worked in magazine publishing and marketing for nine years. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband and daughter. This is her first novel.

剛開始有點無聊，後來慢慢看進去後漸漸被這三個女人打動，從一個白人女人和兩個黑人女傭的角度講述她們共同齣版瞭的一個偉大的並且轟動或者說改變瞭小鎮上故事集。為她們的勇氣和執著感動，為她們的改變而觸動。或許如作者所說，for woman to realize we are just two people. not that much separates us until one day you will know it.

i got the 2009 penguin ed., the pace of the book's excellent, and it gives laughs so far. Wanna finish it b/f the movie's on.//The content is Undeniably powerful, so far.// Now that i've to say, it is really SOMETING 'bout something, after the long-time enjoyable reading.
