1. Dream big and “believe” in something greater than yourself and your personal needs. Confidence and courage will follow it. 2. Always asking myself “how can I help”; Hear what people want, what’s on their mind, then set about making it happen; 3. Sell your vision over and over again, most people don’t like change and you have to overwhelm them!
Was initially attracted by the idea of building an AI institution in Yale and humanity one which studys moral impact of AI in Oxford. Very interesting with the 1st&2nd parts but the subprime mortgage crisis part is unbearably long and boring. Whole piece is fairly good and no worry any difficult financial words.
评分A great book about how Blackstone becomes successful - luck, culture, relationship, and meritocracy.
评分非常點題的“In pursuit of excellence”。
