這部小說的風格正如普魯斯特所說，像“霧”；這個詞用得實在是精妙且狠。最後纔提到的“1853年”很像鬧鍾聲響，精確且早已設定好的時間在此處/此時（用文字所占的空間來隱喻時間）突然響起，驚醒夢中人和讀者，預示夢/小說的終結；而在開頭時，主人公就提到錶壞瞭，模糊瞭時間，恍然置身夢中。 另，一年多以前看艾柯在《悠遊小說林》裏分析Sylvie的未完成過去時，那時候還在想自己不知道何年何月能看這本書——太開心瞭！

讓Proust和Umberto Eco都如癡如醉的小說，被濃霧籠罩的迴憶。文筆很不錯
