想替chad hansen說句話。認為本書是western-centric的人或許沒有意識到真正的western-centric（即Hansen書中多次提到的主流觀點）對中國哲學理解的偏差有多大。實際上，我看到瞭Hansen教授的sympathy。老子一章的論證十分精彩。老毛病就是語言方麵的問題，言語繁復瑣碎，200頁能說清的事非得往500頁寫。用於習慣非常tricky，對以英語為母語的人都不友好，彆說中國人瞭。此外部分章節邏輯論證存在問題，Hansen自己寫得也底氣不足，所以一眼就能看齣來。

評分☆☆☆☆☆

毫無歉意的 western-centric。分析哲學和linguistic turn的路數, 很多想當然。偶爾有些金句--不過在這個看不完書的時代沒必要浪費時間。My take: What we call intuition is usually the acquired skill to process contextual clues and react to them quickly enough to adjust our action to ever-changing circumstances.
