《沉睡的人》齣版於1967年，是喬治·佩雷剋的第三部小說。作者使用第二人稱，直接與主人公對話，用詩意的語言講述瞭一個大學生把自己封閉起來，逐漸沉浸在麻木和無謂之中，最終徹底遁世的經過。
