著者簡介

Michelle McNamara (1970–2016) was the author of the website True Crime Diary. She earned an MFA in fiction writing from the University of Minnesota, and had sold television pilots to ABC and Fox and a screenplay to Paramount. She also worked as a consultant for Dateline NBC. She lived in Los Angeles and is survived by her husband, Patton Oswalt, and their daughter, Alice.

感覺結構有點散亂，而且一直到最後也沒有說清楚是怎麼找到的啊，至少寫個附錄吧

推薦給愛好true crime的讀者。但是評分的話覺得還是隻有3.5吧，可惜在於作者本人沒辦法完成最後的整理和編輯，所以整本書顯得很碎片散落。否則可以想象這將是一部經典的犯罪紀實文學。Golden State Killer真的是讀過和看過（犯罪記錄片裏）最令人毛骨悚然的凶手之一瞭。他的罪行和幾十年的逍遙法外對整個加州的影響在作者的尋找中和記錄下讓人跟著緊張，很容易想象當時的社會是怎樣的一種窒息氛圍。

主要是傾佩作者的執著，耐心和細緻。她老公堅持讓這本書齣版也是值得稱贊，對她是一個慰藉吧。之後落網更是慰藉瞭。但是不是對crime題材特彆感興趣的到後麵的耐心會被磨沒瞭，也許作者自己寫的話會更精彩。

好看，作者文筆超棒，但可惜最後英年早逝估計是心力交瘁瞭。感恩最後凶手抓到瞭

Overrated. 如果作者沒有突發心髒病去世，這本書應該會能看許多。本質其實是雙綫交織：作者自己的obsession和EAR/ONS的犯罪曆程。整理齣書導緻混亂且散亂，沒有主綫而且不連貫，有部分可讀性很強，有部分非常拖遝。時間地點人物都跳來跳去的。如果作者沒有去世，在EAR/ONS被抓以後完整把書寫齣來應該可以很不錯，因為作者本人對於受害人有著很明顯的同理心。
