从头到尾兜售私货，不愧是ISI出品。
评分非常简短，许多问题都是一带而过。漏掉了许多哲学大家（也许是因为他们对政治哲学贡献不多），但为什么没有韦伯？
评分对个人的帮助很大，但读得太慢了。。以后不玩这么着的。。
评分有心讀書者不必讀此書，無心讀書而想略知一二者可奉為入門至寶，Student Guide之名不負讀者。日前在圖書館為友人尋覓政治哲學入門書時偶然發現，見其薄薄一本五十頁且大字體，然從柏拉圖一直講到尼采，是我想提供的思路，於是借來一閱，後才發現原來是大名鼎鼎的施派學人Mansfield所著。其大體沿襲《現代性的三次浪潮》，勾勒政治哲學的關鍵時刻與概念，三言兩語間即把核心處道出，短小精悍可見功力深厚，堪稱大家小書。奈何其於洛克以先深入淺出，盧梭以降點到為止，歐美民主傳統僅存目，是施派作風也是其弊端。我欲向友人揭示如今佔據主流的歐美民主傳統以外的思路，此書堪稱絕妙選擇，然我無意直接遮蔽掉對方。為歐美民主辯護的著作和施派著作總是呈現一種二元對立的樣態，實在令我好生煩惱。取今復古才是我願。
