不管这书写的怎么样，peter singer始终是一个我尊敬的哲学家。能侃的人太多，能真的把自己哲学实践到自己的生活中的人还是太少。

Singer写的马克思导论，按照时间的脉络叙述其思想发展。Singer的诠释既是对马克思的批评，也是对他的辩护：一方面，他从可检验的角度，否定了马克思理论是一种科学；另一方面，他又将马克思看作哲学家，其思想理论对资本主义社会有深刻的揭示。值得一提，Singer没有站在效益主义的角度批评马克思，反倒是提到马克思对效益主义的批评——后者质疑，为了“最大多数人的幸福”，其实只是为了巩固统治阶级的利益而建立起来的道德幻象。这样的信念成为通行的道德准则，只会给无产阶级带来更残酷的压制。
