Singer写的马克思导论，按照时间的脉络叙述其思想发展。Singer的诠释既是对马克思的批评，也是对他的辩护：一方面，他从可检验的角度，否定了马克思理论是一种科学；另一方面，他又将马克思看作哲学家，其思想理论对资本主义社会有深刻的揭示。值得一提，Singer没有站在效益主义的角度批评马克思，反倒是提到马克思对效益主义的批评——后者质疑，为了“最大多数人的幸福”，其实只是为了巩固统治阶级的利益而建立起来的道德幻象。这样的信念成为通行的道德准则，只会给无产阶级带来更残酷的压制。

第一次接触这个系列的读本 peter singer的这本marx思路非常清晰 期待接下来读marx老师hegel的

很好的Intro。除去准确的理解，Singer对Marx as a philosopher的评价也非常到位。有趣的是Singer在明知Wissenschaft和Science之间的区别的情况下，仍然花了很大篇幅来论证Marxism is not science，从某种程度上而言可见一种误解之深。除此之外，Singer也矫正了其他很多庸俗的误解。目前所见的最佳导读。

共产主义实践的失败不是马克思的黑锅，但是他思想中相信人性的恶是资产阶级制度带来的而不是天生的部分，还是太乐观太理想化。看的有点伤感，真正大同的世界是不会存在的吧。
