这个软件我断断续续用了8年有余了，也积累了不少的经验，国内国外的人写的书也见过不少，从2.2到8.0版本，但是始终觉得这本是我读过的最好的一本。该书花了很大的篇幅来讲述mathematica的一些库函数的实现方式，就像最经典的编程图书K&R C中所描述的C库函数如何实现，UNIX环...

讀瞭那本 mathematica 全書後，又迴頭掃瞭掃這本書。總體上講這本書的內容是包含在 mathematica 全書中的，隻是展現方式更加友好一些。我理解中， mathematica 語言設計的幾個核心：1. 統一的類 s-exp 的底層數據結構錶示; 2. symbolic computation; 3. pattern matching; 4. rule-based tranformation; 5. lots of functional programming ideas. 6. literate programming, use notebook as an uniform interface. 另，最近感覺掌握一門知識最好的辦法似乎就是直接去啃最經典最難的書，捷徑是不存在的。
