作者简介
Lisa Eldridge is a London-based professional makeup artist who has developed a huge online following with her award-winning website, Lisaeldridge.com. She has worked with many of the world’s top fashion photographers and on the faces of the biggest stars and models. Eldridge is currently makeup creative director for Lancôme and has also held Global Creative Director, Developmental, and Ambassador roles at Shiseido, Chanel, Boots, and Lancome.

评分I really like that Lisa didn’t go down the tutorial route and give us just another celebrity artist’s how-to book. Vintage makeup and makeup history are obviously a passion of hers, and you can really sense her tone and voice from the book. it’s way too general and concise, though. I wish she had put more material in it or dug deeper.

评分插画很漂亮，但内容究竟不够详实，没涉及审美风向的转变原因。想必是资料少的缘故。中世纪至二战前的内容能多些就更妙了。
