评分李光耀从历史角度论述“一人一票”在中国行不通的逻辑本身是不通的。当代西方资本主义在中国数千年历史的长河中也从未曾出现，但在过去短短 40 年中却被中国人玩得淋漓尽致，这是有目共睹的。中国在 21 世纪甚至成为了世界经济增长的最主要力量。至于“一人一票”在现阶段还没有出现的必要，我认为是中国社会还处在流动性比较高的阶段，阶层间的利益冲突还不足以对抗先把饼做大的总体利益，亦即大多数中国人尚有做梦和实现梦的空间，因此相比民主社会各阶层的多样乃至分化，现阶段对社会团结和稳定所赋予的权重更高。
