E. H. Gombrich's Little History of the World, though written in 1935, has become one of the treasures of historical writing since its first publication in English in 2005. Gombrich was of course the best-known art historian of his time, and his text suggests illustrations on every page. 非常好的一本书。原书是写给国外小朋友作为了解历史的儿童读物的，但是很适合我们学习英语用，用词不难。作者写的非常好，尤其是最后一部分，看完都感动的要落泪了。强烈推荐
评分鉴于年代，可谓超级正确了，无论政治上还是学术上。如果不是硬要有个“超过”的感觉，应该谁都不忍心说还有西方中心主义残留吧。
