作者简介
保拉·拉罗克（Paula LaRocque），西密歇根大学文学硕士、畅销书及专栏作家、沟通顾问，自 20 世纪 90 年代初以来，一直活跃于写作和教授写作的高校、媒体等领域。1990 年至 2001 年，保拉成为美联社管理编辑协会的成员，2001 年，该协会授予她最高荣誉 —— 为新闻业做出杰出贡献的“功勋服务奖”。

评分万维钢推荐，讲的东西很受用，这几年的写作一直都受益于这本书，感觉比那本著名的 风格感觉 还要好，唯一不足就是车轱辘话，但可以理解
评分Simple but elegant. 易读且实用的英文写作指导书，解答了一直以来的很多困扰，值得反复精度。
评分很棒的寫作書。有30％是關於寫技術方面，但可惜只是以guideline寫得比較簡短，要看詳細的如何構造句子段落等還是推薦Style。其他部份有講文風，有講如何創作，最棒就是破解了很多寫作的迷思。很難記筆記的一本書，基本上所有的內容都有用，是像How to Read a Book一樣要經常拿出來查閱的工具書。
