Susan Glaspell created this play based on a true story she covered years ago as a political journalist. In it, men do their duties and "got awful important things on their mind" while women "taking up their time with little things" and "worrying over trifles". Ironically, by overlooking "trifles" men "can't do better" (getting evidence). Sympathy g

评分one-act play, powerful words, lively dialogues
评分短篇小說A Jury of Her Peers和這部劇本基本內容一緻，但是比起來劇本就精妙瞭很多，少瞭廢話和沒必要的細節提示，隻剩下微妙的情緒轉換，留白得恰到好處。因為讀劇本的時候已經想象瞭幾個人物的樣子，所以看演員演的時候還挺不適應的，感覺和自己的期待很不同，有一點點失望。
