分两天把这个剧本读完，第一天期盼着伴随着真相的展开，也许结局会逆转。第二天读的时候全程提着一口气，母亲依然是那个自恋的母亲，Jessie到死都在寻求对自我生命的主导，想起了winnicott提出的true self and false self, Jessie一辈子都活在false self之中，反哺照顾母亲的各种需求，找不到真正的自我。Jessie的自我了结是对真我的追寻，或者又是对母亲的恨，对母亲的终极惩罚？从母亲的角度，这个自杀的行为轨迹是可以被干预的吗？也许可以，也许不能

There‘s nothing surprising or shocking about this suburban American family suicide drama. The climax of the story is revealed at the beginning of the play which makes the plot and the characters so predictable. However, considering it was written in 1983, I can see why it came out as a strong force.

"Then I came over and kissed you and said, ''Night, Mother,' and you heard me close my bedroom door and the next thing you heard was the shot." Suicide is the only thing that can be completely possessed by one I guess.

2017年12月购入，2018年1月到货，2018年5月14日两个小时读完。感兴趣的段落已不再心心念念，这是“时间的力量”。seizure是疾病发作，fit也是疾病发作，都是可数名词。solid形容一整段时间，书中提到了a solid year。manicure是指甲护理。
