For many applications, a randomized algorithm is either the simplest or the fastest algorithm available, and sometimes both. This book introduces the basic concepts in the design and analysis of randomized algorithms. The first part of the text presents basic tools such as probability theory and probabilistic analysis that are frequently used in algorithmic applications. Algorithmic examples are also given to illustrate the use of each tool in a concrete setting. In the second part of the book, each chapter focuses on an important area to which randomized algorithms can be applied, providing a comprehensive and representative selection of the algorithms that might be used in each of these areas. 以前讀這本書的時候，被一位師兄善意地暗示過：讀書不要太死闆，不需要全部讀通，不需要每道題都做過；理論掌握瞭，技巧都是可以琢磨齣來的。隻可惜當時我沒有領會。
评分這本書沒有讀完，的確很難。。。看瞭幾章而已。。。

评分很多定理略去沒證，隻寫結論（因為是算法書不是概率論書嘛╮(╯_╰)╭）。算法題目多如牛毛，cover瞭許許多多知識點，分析部分還是很詳細的。也很重視算法分析中概率論思維方式的培養。買本原版收藏翻閱，咬咬牙，值！
评分這本書沒有讀完，的確很難。。。看瞭幾章而已。。。
