借着中国历史课的机缘终于读完了英文缩减版的西游记，凑合着中文版一起读着感觉还不错呢。在英文版里很多人物都失去了幼年动画里那种调皮捣蛋的形象，显得极为严肃和真实人，而本书的删节也将孙悟空的形象更好的放大和突出，何谓真大圣，相比愚昧的唐僧不知有趣好玩多少。虽然内心抵触很多诗词、术语的翻译，但也知道外人能翻译出来实属不易。越是读越是感觉到中文与中华文化的博大精深吧，也只能感慨到这种程度了 Truly Impressed Me. Christine.
