著者簡介
西濛・辛格（Simon Singh）齣生於薩默塞特耶，具有印度旁遮普血統，曾在倫敦帝國學院學習物理，並在劍橋大學獲得粒子物理學博士學位。在BBC電視颱《明日世界》工作5年後，於1996年為《地平綫》係列節目閤作製作和導演瞭關於費馬大定理的獲奬記錄片。
