杜鲁门·卡波蒂（Truman Capote），一九二四年九月三十日生于美国新奥尔良。一九四八年第一部长篇小说《别的声音，别的房间》的出版为他赢得国际声誉，此后的创作使他成为战后美国文坛最为著名的作家之一。他两度荣获欧·亨利短篇小说奖，是美国艺术与文学院院士。卡波蒂的其他重要作品包括小说《草竖琴》、《蒂凡尼的早餐》以及“非虚构小说”《冷血》。一九八四年八月二十五日病逝于洛杉矶

评分Truman Capote其实挺下三流的，不惜一切手段出名。总让人觉得他有点玛丽苏，他写的《冷血》我是真的非常、非常喜欢看，但是对于这个人，多少觉得有点难以喜欢的起来。自我中心太严重了，算是缺少class吧，拿八卦博人气。
