评分从一个外国人的角度写的中国农民发迹的故事。很有意思。
评分有脉络有关怀，读来开阔。到最后发现Wang Lung没有怎么受到革命影响，原来是还在民国
评分太写实了，人物情节都不那么引人入胜。坚持看完以后发现她对农村生活的观察非常细致——“原教旨主义，性别歧视，种族歧视，对残障人士的歧视” 到今天还是没有太大改变。
评分看到什么"eight-jeweled rice" 和 “a hundred-days cough"的时候真很有亲切感，但是可能历史意义大于文学价值。人物塑造都挺单薄的我觉着。
