Lost in the Funhouse is a collection of loosely connected short stories that was originally published by John Barth in 1968. These postmodern stories examine the art of fiction writing, among other things, and seem to undermine the conventional and predictable nature of fiction. In the fourteen stories, Barth presents a literary "funhouse," a dense maze that weaves in and out of plot, narration, and a self-conscious attention to the process of writing itself.
其實隻讀瞭Ambrose His Mark和Lost in the Funhouse 各種不懂metafiction >_<
評分無感。。。
評分Obsessed. 始於莫比烏斯環的無限,toy with homeric lines and forge them into postmodern Homeric fairy tales... 無盡的詮釋與文本的可能性是對讀者的挑戰 最終We’re all lost in the funhouse. 而看似鬧著玩似的結構與篇章身後卻蘊含著文學最嚴峻最不可迴避的挑戰:exhaustion
評分一個大寫的懵逼
評分Not only the boy is lost in the funhouse of love, but also the writer is lost in the Funhouse of writing. John Barth puts metafiction into this story, which makes the story difficult to read.
