版式设计，装帧，纸型，手感都上佳。阅读时携带轻便，不像某些书死沉死沉能当板儿砖使。近年来广西师大出版社的确下了番功夫，在纸质图书上从其他媒介收复了不少阵地。原本弥尔顿的无韵诗翻译得倒也顺畅，选词也确实独到。只是把大天使米迦勒翻译成了迈克尔。。。。 ma， ...

弥尔顿是我真正喜欢的外国诗人，读中文版翻译，倍感他的诗歌充满磅礴气势，让我忍不住找原版翻，尽管原版有很多单词不认识，但弥尔顿诗歌的气势深深地震撼到我。

感觉这个主题最难处理的地方是从无罪到堕落的过渡稍不注意就有determinism的危险。而我现在觉得弥尔顿刻画的夏娃还是很成功的从被造起借用的变形记中Narcissus的形象其实是一个ambiguity——并不直指堕落亚当与夏娃正如这个故事的正反两面互为foil。至于撒旦他与Sin和Death的乱伦关系同样有Narcissus的影子指向另一极端。不明白那些看完这三角乱伦与撒旦一伙变成一群蛇还觉得撒旦是史诗中的英雄的人是怎么想的弥尔顿要批评传统heroism也不会把hero糟践至此
