重读此书，特别是在晚近诸多关联文献的帮助下，有了许多新收获。罗西的确做了重要的贡献，比如对于城市对象的多侧面认识，将历史学和类型学整合起来，关注城市格局的社会约束条件以及内部的规则转型，这类研究当时就很时髦。而此项研究中的科学性留给了规划师，艺术性吗给了建筑师。

问题是上海建筑书店卖的那本书，找来找去没有版权页，更找不到原来的价格。价格是用超市粘纸印的阿拉伯数字。犹豫再三，还是放弃了这本好书。天晓得！
