英文看的還是慢。這本迴頭一定寫書評。

對話中思維流動性很大，不是全都理解瞭的。整本書看下來感覺Said太急於將話題擴展到自我認同、全球化、人權等方麵，引導性和目的性太強，Barenboim雖然思維有些跳躍，但在音樂上的見解很深，如貝四中的psychology of tonality和縱觀下Wagner在音樂上的成就和地位。這兩人的搭配使得這本書有一定的廣度和深度，值得一讀。

長知識！從音樂齣發思考音樂的功能，音樂與外界的關係，精彩之處在於對“弦外之音”的思考——社會，政治，曆史，文化……幾乎涵蓋瞭方方麵麵。沒有想象中大師的艱難晦澀，都是一些極其私人化和主觀上的見解和喜好，換句話說，這是本親切坦誠的對話錄。少瞭教條、政治正確後，即使是嚴肅正經的話題，兩個老頭子依然談論得生動有趣。後遺癥是，看完書瘋狂地迷上瞭瓦格納的歌劇……
