《you-know-nothing奶爸在东耶路撒冷的懵逼日常》一个标准的western outsider视角。好在不entitled、不patronizing、preconceived idea很少：「assuming nothing and drawing everything」。可以从quotidian details以小见大。比起Sarah Glidden，作者既没有身份包袱，也没有站队需求，都没做什么额外的文化历史功课，所以哪怕随老婆派遣的时间比Glidden的birthright trip长、接触以色列社会面广，也还是写得隔岸看花，更不要提有什么有意义的心路历程。意外的惊喜：偶尔有些laugh-out-loud humour。个别章结尾处的留白。叙事随机，却节奏很好。

还行。不如北朝鲜那本好看。可能一是本身槽点较少，二是耶路撒冷还是离我们远了点。

买完读了一半儿扔那了，最近重新看了一遍。一直都喜欢guy讲故事的方式，虽然他一定是有观点的，可尽量表现的中立。这本书看完我真的不想再多看一眼，特别不适合睡前读，让你颓丧到得吃巧克力缓缓。我想说我真的很不喜欢宗教。
