著者簡介

Paul Auster was born in Newark, New Jersey in the United States in 1947. After attending Columbia University, he lived in France for four years. Since 1974 he has published poems, essays, novels, screenplays and translations. He was the editor of the short story anthology, True Tales of American Life. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

包括奧斯特的語言簡單直白，喜歡在結構形式上玩花活。誰說的，重要的不是講述的內容，而是如何講述。我卻一直覺得內容要大於形式，至少，形式是為內容服務的。男主人公的一生，簡直是車禍的一生。作傢都在講述殘破不全的人生故事，難道完整的人生，不值得講述？還是這世上本就沒有完整的人生？

語言依然優美流暢。敘事技巧和結構也很棒。但看到最後不知道這本書想要說什麼... 比起《月宮》,20年間作者果然是老瞭，《月宮》裏那種對人生的激情，和拳拳的赤子之心已經消失瞭。

Smothered in Auster's narration whirlpool, couldn't bear wearing my bra. A grotesque book. Disturbing. I'm afraid I allowed too many other books to interrupt the reading and have dragged the process sooooo looooong, that the effect has already been diminis...
