第一部真正意义上看进去的原版小说 一开始觉得女主神经质 自作自受 后来读到她死前对Carlyle的独白才领会到她人生的悲剧所在 这也真的是一场最完美的赎罪了 很喜欢书结尾的一句话 “Every good thing will time that we earnestly seek.”
评分断断续续读了三个多月，终于读完了...每次读上两章就有想要扔书的冲动...实在是无法理解这么拖沓冗长的叙事，苍白单薄的人物，矫揉造作的对白，当年是如何让这部小说成为最畅销的sensation novel的...莫非当真是彼时的营销策略选的好...
