之前看过裴淳华的电影，印象很深。这几天美伊争端，又想起了这位最终死于战场的勇敢的战地记者，就找了这本书来看。但我不明白了，作者在前言写道 “I had known her so fleetingly, and now she was gone. There was so much I don't know about Marie, things she had hidden from me, or that I had chosen not to see.” 这句话真是劝退……那请问你写的这本Marie的传记，我能相信多少啊？

Abridged. 有點像Tina Fey那個什麼fox tango的電影. (the La Perla bra under the flak jacket加eye patch的戰地記者形象蠻迷人的 但故事感覺略淡。（最微妙的是她和攝影師arrested by the Syrians, but later released, unharmed, telling them they believed in free speech
