這本書最棒的地方是end note，翻譯雖說不錯但還感覺不如漢譯本好，畢竟東西方有更大差距。但end note編寫得簡直太認真。

尾注信息量巨大。译文非常动人，但前田爱「子供たちの時間」所点出的原文中一层又一层的张力，英译全然无从体现。
