書中用詞和語句結構太鬼魅，對於學漢語長大的我讀著很是費勁，但是字裏行間的坦誠親和一眼就能看齣來，給齣不少寫作建議，實用

做作業看的，看的算快，一個下午就看完瞭並做好筆記。

The guiding question in research is So What? Answer that question in every sentence, and you will become a great scholar, or a millionaire; answer it once or twice in a ten-page paper, and you'll write a good one.

The book is short but clumsy. It's quite interesting that it intends to teach junior economists how to writing cogently, the name of the book itself is rather vague. What is "Economical writing"? Efficient writing or writing in economics? I suggest writers to elements of style and other books. This book deserves half an hour fast skimming.
