这人的写作风格很疏懒，其实倒是《纽约客》专职作家。一个精明之处是小说里通常只流露一个人的所思所想，而其余人都在此人的镜头下被反复端详。一旦（在某几篇里）作者跳出这种模式，表明他对这个人物都没有什么同情了。
评分最近读过的最带感的短篇集，每篇都那么好，描写得那么精准。请等待我的译本，预2014年出版。
