著者简介

尼克·德纳索（Nick Drnaso），1989 年出生于伊利诺伊州帕洛斯山市，是一位作家和图画小说家。他的第一本书《贝弗莉》获得了洛杉矶时报图书奖的最佳图像小说奖项；《消失的塞布丽娜》则是首部入围布克奖的图像小说的作品。现在他和妻子还有三只猫一起住在芝加哥。

uhhhh，尊重这种文学艺术形式，emmm，四舍五入三星吧…内容应该是很深刻的，但是graphic novel像风吹过，nothing left…

讲述一个女孩失踪以后的故事。作为书名和封面中的人物，Sabrina 仅仅出现在开头几页里。然而，这个看似主角的女孩将变成一片巨大的阴影投射在与她相关的人身上。书背面的评论说得好：这是一场「美国式的噩梦」。不过，在这里，我们体验的不是一个「单一」的美国噩梦，而是「双重」的美国噩梦。Sabrina 的失踪和最终的死亡固然是第一重；更为恐怖的第二重，则是随之而来的狂风暴雨：谩骂，威胁，反目，阴谋论，遗忘 … 这让人不禁想到那个被重复了无数遍的问题：「这个世界还有救吗？」回答当然是见仁见智。但不用感到担心，因为，就像书里的所有人一样，在想好自己的回答之前，我们的注意力早已转向下一个问题了。

去年The Man Booker Prize入圍，題材很好。後911時代民眾對於惡性案件的恐懼，偏執與妄想。被殺害的Sabrina，大眾陰謀論的不斷傳播，網路與電台不負責任的無端臆測和圍追堵截對逝者親人朋友造成的各種傷害，故事本身算不上多深刻，不過此類作品在當下的存在是必要的，現在是，以後也是。扣一星給畫面，雖說作者風格確實如此，不過人物表情的缺失對整體感情塑造的影響真的很大⋯同樣是類似的風格，Adrian Tomine老師處理得明顯要好得多
