确实很心痛. (1) 医疗改革之类的都是越改越差啊, 主要的限制好像还是钱. (2) 这本书就像其他医生自传里描述的, 医疗人员也痛恨NHS bureacracy. 病人痛恨NHS效率低下, 政府就靠增加医生的工作时间之类的来对应, 但是医生得不到休息也容易出错. (3) 大多数人缺乏医学常识, 可能不止是医学常识所以也不能有逻辑地思考问题, 就会怪医生这个那个, 造成医患关系紧张. 然后政府又只会一昧地讨好stupid and daft masses, 于是医生这个职业的位置更险恶了 (4) 很多病人生活习惯也不良, 吸烟酗酒吸毒执着于sex, 如果大家都好好生活可能医生的负担也小很多?

评分This title is a huge spoiler. Despite the author have already told you it is going to hurt, the end is still unexpectedly sad and heartbreaking. He didnot mention it is going to hurt so much. I love his narritive, all those humor and smart remarks which only make the pain more unbearable.
