Based on his hugely popular Reith Lectures and full of words and pictures, this funny, personal journey through the art world answers the basic questions that might occur to us in an art gallery but seem too embarrassing to ask. Questions such as:

What is 'good' or 'bad' art - and does it even matter? Is there any way to test if something is art, other than a large group of people standing around looking at it? Is art still capable of shocking us or have we seen it all before? Can you be a 'lovable character' and a serious artist - what is a serious artist anyway? And what happens if you place a piece of art in a rubbish dump?

倫敦藝術大學校長。

英國備受歡迎的當代藝術傢、陶藝傢，在全世界各地舉辦過大型個展。

2003年獲得英國當代視覺藝術大奬“特納奬”。

2008年獲選“英國文化百位權威人士”（第32位）。

2011年當選英國皇傢藝術學院皇傢院士。

2013年，他在BBC年度特彆節目“裏斯講座”開講，是該節目開播六十五年以來第一位藝術傢。

對當代藝術，藝術圈和藝術市場的犀利吐槽。Grayson是透納奬的獲得者，英國最有名的在世藝術傢之一，吐槽真心一針見血。果然內部人吐槽內部人最好看。關於Global Art English，Jeff Koons和村上隆的吐槽看得我笑暈過去。拿著這本書在地鐵上看，旁邊的人都忍不住伸頭來看插畫。
