一本針對學術寫作的小書，好讀。讀完強烈要做binge writing。我的確存在“i write best when i am inspired to write”的問題。順提下，斯蒂芬金的on writing是我私人更喜歡的關於非學術寫作的書。

I started reading this book when I had to write a lot. At work. About construction disputes I knew very little about. Sadly, this book is not useful for that kind of writing. This book covers a very narrow type of writing - academic writing for scholars, and it conveys a simple idea: make writing part of your schedule and start writing every day.

非常容易读，语言生动有趣，讲的道理不光可以用在writing paper上，也可以用在任何自己打算改变的行为上。 Love it. Great for any grad student just starting out, or someone who failed to learn this in grad school.
