Santiago Ramon y Cajal was a mythic figure in science. Hailed as the father of modern anatomy and neurobiology, he was largely responsible for the modern conception of the brain. 大部分看得不知所云，有点像鸡汤，重复得最多的是要勤奋，要持之以恒，却没有说为什么有的人能比另一些人更勤奋更持之以恒。另外，无法苟同作者认为妻子是丈夫附属品的看法。
