Santiago Ramon y Cajal was a mythic figure in science. Hailed as the father of modern anatomy and neurobiology, he was largely responsible for the modern conception of the brain. 读完前两章我对作者的崇敬上升到一种拜大神的高度，作者对新人的苦恼和科学领域中裹足不前的种种人真是洞若观火，但后半本，尤其是倒数第三章，价值观输出太多，连研究者该与什么样的人结婚都给出了建议，不禁令人哑然。
