这几个endings，太厉害了！有几个短篇我一读再读，实在是回味无穷。既敬佩他的写作手法，如何去收尾，又迫切对他可以抹去的”关键信息”，看似他在”吊我胃口”，实际上是让我心甘情愿地角色带入或走进故事情节里，有时候读得比角色还紧张和激动，真的比戏剧还engaging！早有耳闻他的意识流写法，虽然现在还没读相关评论文章或对意识流的研究，但他这些在dubliners里的结尾就已经让我对他如何收尾的structure更感兴趣与敬佩，相比之下，意识流这个我一开始想认识joyce和virginia woolf的文学手法倒是沒那麼吸引我了。还有关于人物的情感描写细致入微，这可能是寫作手法 realism narrative 的運用。

从前读过其中最长的一篇The Dead（往生者），看到结局，莫名其妙地感动起来。所以后来买了全书来看。
