這本書讀起來非常刺激,但有短期刺激營銷的嫌疑。聽說作者Timothy Ferriss雖然在書裏描述他工作隻需要一周那麼一丁點時間,但實際上他每天每時每刻都在工作。What an irony.

這本書會改變你的一生, 這不是開玩笑的! 忘記以往那些所謂退休的概念, 以及剩下的那些 生命中遲遲未開始的計劃, 沒有必要等下去, 不管為任何理由都沒必要等下去! 不管你的夢想是從貓和老鼠的賽跑中脫離齣來, 還是享受高端的環球旅行, 零管理的每月賺五位數收入, 或者僅僅隻是更多地享受生活更少地工作, 這本書都可以作為你的藍圖!

3.5星,信噪比有點低。值得關注的觀點有:1、不要把一切都留待真正退休瞭纔去做、去體會,不時實行mini-retirement;2、簡單、簡化,放棄執念,扔掉無用的東西;3、保有一顆不放棄夢想的心;4、你沒必要等到賺到百萬,纔去過百萬富翁的生活(隨心、隨性,旅行與做自己喜歡的事並沒有你所想那麼昂貴)

Tim Ferriss 提倡的生活方式非常吸引人——隻做最重要的事,剩下的工作外包給更擅長的人,因此可以跳齣朝九晚五的桎梏,可以有大量時間探索人生的可能性:到世界各地旅行、學習語言、為NGO做誌願者。初讀此書時還隻是間歇性的遠程工作,因此頗不以為然。但再讀時已經可以完全控製自己工作的時間和地點,因此更有共鳴——我們花瞭多少時間在對自己、對這個世界都沒有任何用處,且不能讓我們從中獲得樂趣的瑣事上。這本書當然並不適閤所有人,但我認為你最起碼應該試著這樣去生活。
