托妮•莫裏森（Toni Morrison）

美國著名女作傢。1931年生於俄亥俄州，曾在蘭登書屋擔任高級編輯，後赴普林斯頓大學等校任教。代錶作有《最藍的眼睛》《所羅門之歌》《寵兒》《爵士樂》《愛》《恩惠》等，囊括普利策小說奬、美國國傢圖書奬、全美書評傢協會奬三項美國最重要的圖書大奬，1993年榮獲諾貝爾文學奬。

自焚，淹死，都是我能想到的最可怕的死法瞭。很多時候嘛，一個渙散的集體需要的不是一個英明的領導者，而是一個共同的敵人。一遍還沒太看明白，還是這小說本來就是強調人生和人性的模糊性吧。爲什麽最後nel發現自己這些年來想念的人不是丈夫jude 而是sula呢？
