思路新穎 可供參考 但對曆史簡略瞭太多 因此基本可以看作費正清晚年對一生中國史研究的臨終呢喃

因為最近要寫中國白銀貿易的論文，在圖書館隨便找中國曆史的書，還真瞎貓碰到死耗子瞭，我知道費正清，但不知道他英文名是john king fairbank...最近老是在走麯綫救國的道路。

費正清寫瞭一句概括中國曆史最深刻的話：Never have so few ruled for so long over so many. 整本書對古代史的敘述比較簡單粗略，最精彩的是清末明初的章節，49年以後的敘述更多，缺少精彩的分析。Goldmann添加的兩章長篇大段敘述，比較囉嗦，沒有什麼特彆齣彩的內容，像是高鶚在續《紅樓夢》。
