四星半。精妙的書籍設計，大量比較準確的地圖、appendix的常識介紹都十分適閤初學者。Crawley的譯文自由度過大準確度也比較一般［當然修昔底德的希臘文實在是太難-_-#不是每個人都和Hornblower那樣強迫癥］，常識介紹也實在有點太“常識”瞭，適閤非曆史非Classics專業學生。
评分終於讀完這個版本。譯文讀起來有些費勁，保留瞭大量的分詞結構。地圖是真的非常好用...
