覺得作者有點將中國文學搬過去套上美國的背景。裏麵有一張很像是仿寫魯迅的“吃人”。當然也夾雜瞭一點個人經驗。可惜讀的不是原文，不知道作者功底如何。不過還是提供瞭一些寶貴的社會背景知識。

終於看完瞭可以打差評瞭！看瞭一遍都不知道作者說的啥，太亂瞭，毫無章法，差評！還是《女勇士》好得多！

和《女勇士》相比，同樣充滿著湯亭亭獨特風格的奇思和跳躍，但《中國佬》的男性視角涉及瞭很多公眾曆史事件——華人勞工在夏威夷種甘蔗地、修鐵路，反共狂潮和參加越南戰爭的故事，讀來很有感觸，感覺像是在看一部血淚華人移民史，個人更喜歡這一本。

華裔美國文學作品中很好看的一部，前麵幾個故事都很精彩，後幾章有些雞肋
