和《女勇士》相比，同樣充滿著湯亭亭獨特風格的奇思和跳躍，但《中國佬》的男性視角涉及瞭很多公眾曆史事件——華人勞工在夏威夷種甘蔗地、修鐵路，反共狂潮和參加越南戰爭的故事，讀來很有感觸，感覺像是在看一部血淚華人移民史，個人更喜歡這一本。

看瞭大半年，終於看掉瞭。本著迎難而上的自虐精神，準備把這套書都啃一遍（要怪就怪長寜圖書館竟然都有

終於看完瞭可以打差評瞭！看瞭一遍都不知道作者說的啥，太亂瞭，毫無章法，差評！還是《女勇士》好得多！
