Enron興衰史，波瀾壯闊，即便是在十多年後、用現在的眼光看去，Enron仍是一個獨一無二的行業領導者和innovator。兩位作者文筆流暢、言簡意賅、多數時候隻是闡明事實，留給讀者無限的思考空間。time is a flat circle, enron的潰敗絕非個案，但卻是最令人目瞪口呆的一個，同樣的事情仍在重復、繼續，what had happened will happen again and again
评分剛看完第十一章，真是觸目驚心。在利益麵前，華爾街的投資銀行們錶現的和房市高泡沫時追漲的散戶差不多：知道真正估值沒這麼高，知道裏麵有欺詐。但沒關係，隻要我不是接最後一棒的就好。The smartest guys in the room. The title says all.

评分看完Bad Blood之後看這本，感覺何其相似。前半部分真是。。good old days，有錢大傢賺。後麵大廈崩塌的時候真是樹倒猢猻散。聽Audio book十分有感覺，大概是有點偵探小說意味，財務會計相關詞匯也能理解。覺得最神奇的就是真的有幾個拿瞭很多錢因為政治鬥爭失敗離開的，但是之後再看真是太幸運瞭，否則都得進監獄。還有個亞洲人，超級神秘，拿瞭好多錢最後沒進監獄，還在科羅拉多買瞭山和農場，NB。
评分啃瞭半年終於趁假期看完瞭，條理清晰分析的也很透徹有邏輯，作者也是真的下功夫找瞭無數資料和細節內容，看瞭13年再版結尾對08金融危機的延伸更是感慨，人性的貪婪真是永遠不會改變
