安东尼•伯吉斯 Anthony Burgess（1917—1993）

英国当代著名文学家、作曲家和文学评论家。早年在大学攻读文学，做过钢琴师，进过情报部门。20世纪60年代被诊断患脑瘤，从此隐居，专事文学创作。后得知脑瘤纯属误诊，但其文学创作一直延续。一生发表作品几十部，以《发表橙》最为著名、最具影响，另著有《尘世种子》、《尘世权利》等。他一直希望被看作会写小说的音乐家，而非会作曲的小说家。
