I read the original Chinese version by the way, so it might have had a different effect on me.

英文版不錯，外國人譯的就是地道

reading English version makes me realize some details that I didn't pay attention to when reading the Chinese version. 翻譯得很有中國特色，饅頭steamed bun, preserved egg鬆花蛋什麼的，不知道外國人能不能懂。一字一句譯得中規中矩。可能因為英語不是母語的原因，無論如何都沒有讀原著的感覺。

男主整個找抽。。。小孩最可憐好不好。。男權社會傷不起啊。傷不起。。。玉華整個苦B小說的代言人。。。終於明白為什麼中國曾一度禁止這本小說。。。也把舊社會寫得太陰暗瞭吧。。。。
