His books include The Design of Everyday Things, Things That Make Us Smart, and The Invisible Computer. He lives in Northbrook, Illinois.

不難看齣 Norman 的樂觀性格。在闡述三個層麵的時候用瞭很多有趣的例子，層層深入。十幾年前的書現在看來，第三章和第六章的內容仍然有可以繼續學習的地方，其他的基本逐漸普及瞭，少瞭很多驚喜與趣味。

沒空的話也可以去看看norman的ted talk基本就講瞭這本書裏的理論很快速的介紹瞭emotional design的三個層次。
